We Just Came Back from GeekCon 2026 – Here’s the Vibe

Ending August 1st we spent three packed days at GeekCon 2026 (July 30 – August 1) at the Kuwait International Fairground, Hall 5 and the energy was real.

GeekCon has become one of the strongest pop culture gatherings in Kuwait, and this year’s edition delivered. TCG Gaming zones, cosplay, anime and comics booths, exclusive merch, and a crowd that clearly loves the same things we do. Walking the floor felt like being surrounded by people who get the nostalgia, the collecting bug, and the pure joy of these hobbies.

For us at Retro Camel it was especially fun seeing so many fellow collectors and retro gaming fans. Conversations about handhelds, figures, limited releases, and “where did you find that?” happened non-stop. Events like this remind us why we do what we do; bringing authentic Japanese figures, premium collectibles, and quality retro handhelds to the GCC community.

A few things that stood out:

• The cosplay quality keeps rising every year.
• Local and regional Artists and creators are putting in serious work.
• Collectors are hungry for authentic pieces and ready-to-play devices.

We’re already looking forward to the next one. If you were there and stopped by (or just enjoyed the weekend), thank you! These events are better because of you, the community.
